Dudhsagar and spice plantation day

Dudhsagar Falls is a 10-hour day from North Goa. The car takes you to Kulem (about 70 km from Calangute); from there it’s a shared forest jeep (₹500–600 per person, booked at the counter) to the falls, with a 1.5-hour slot at the pool. On the way back, stop at a spice plantation in Ponda for lunch and a tour. The falls are closed in peak monsoon (usually mid-June to September) — check with us before booking.

3-day Goa sightseeing plan

  • Day 1 — North Goa: the itinerary above. Sunset at Vagator.
  • Day 2 — South Goa: Old Goa, Panjim, Colva, Cabo de Rama, Palolem.
  • Day 3 — Dudhsagar & spice plantation, or a free beach day with a half-day car for a market run and airport drop.

Three-day sightseeing packages start from ₹6,500 (sedan) and ₹10,500 (Innova Crysta), and we can build the airport pickup and drop into the same booking — fares in the Goa airport taxi fare guide.

Tips for a better sightseeing day

  1. Start by 8:30. Old Goa and Fort Aguada are empty before 10 and packed after.
  2. Carry cash for parking and entry fees — ₹20–100 at most stops.
  3. Tell the driver your must-sees the night before so the route is planned around them.
  4. Dress for churches (shoulders and knees covered) in Old Goa.
  5. Monsoon (June–September) means lush greenery, cheaper rates and closed water sports — great for forts and churches.
  6. Wednesday = Anjuna flea market; Saturday = Arpora night market (November to April).

Goa sightseeing by car FAQs

How much does a Goa sightseeing package by car cost?

A full-day (8 hr / 80 km) North or South Goa sightseeing package by car starts at around ₹2,200 in an AC sedan, ₹3,500 in an Innova Crysta and ₹4,500 in a 12-seater tempo traveller, with driver and fuel included.

Is one day enough for North Goa sightseeing?

Yes, for the highlights: Fort Aguada, Candolim, Calangute, Baga, Anjuna, Vagator and Chapora Fort fit into one 8-hour day. Add a second day for Arambol, Morjim and Ashvem.

What does a South Goa taxi tour include?

A typical South Goa day covers Old Goa churches (Basilica of Bom Jesus, Se Cathedral), Panjim and Fontainhas, Miramar, Dona Paula, then Colva or Palolem beach. Cabo de Rama fort is a popular add-on.

Does the sightseeing package include entry tickets?

No. Entry fees (forts, museums, spice plantations, Dudhsagar jeep) and parking are paid directly by you. The package covers the car, driver and fuel for the agreed hours and kilometres.

Can the driver act as a guide?

Our drivers know the routes, timings and good lunch stops and are happy to share local tips, but they are not licensed guides. We can arrange a guide separately on request.

Which is better, Goa sightseeing by car or by bus?

A private car lets you set the order, skip crowded spots and stop for lunch where you like. Group bus tours are cheaper per person but fixed in timing. For couples and families, a car is the better experience.
